Our CDRom products have experienced problems with these CDRom drives. The problem arises because the CDRom drive is unable to read all of the information that is on the disk. Some of the symptoms include having the program work for a while and then not being able to load, or coming up with the message "unable to read sufficient data." There are no fixes or patches for this problem. All other 2x (double speed) CDRom drives made by other companies should work fine. Any 4x (quad speed) CDRom drive or higher speed CDRom should work with our product (this includes a 4x Creative Labs/Panasonic CDRoms). If you have this problem the only solutions are to upgrade to a different CDRom drive or to obtain a refund from Infobases. |
